Optical store wins a visit from Style Guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones

Horrocks & Boyd, an independent practice located in Kingston have won a store visit from top stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones.
Nicky will spend the afternoon with the small team of eye care professionals, revealing her "Specs Appeal" secrets and giving advice to customers on how to choose the right frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle. Nicky will also be giving advice on Transitions lenses, UV protection and the importance of eye health.

In November last year, Transitions sent thousands of UK optical outlets a Specs Appeal Pack which included an introductory CD (including an invitation to the electronic e-learning module featuring Nicky herself), the Specs Selector™, the definitive guide to Transitions lenses, a dispensing mat, a matching leaflet holder and the winter edition of the Specs Appeal Guide.

Horrocks & Boyd returned their Specs Selector (a tool designed specifically to help dispensers identify customer needs) and were lucky enough to be chosen at random by Nicky herself from nearly 100 entrants. Both parties are very excited about the event which is expected to take place mid-February.
Along with existing customers and the general public, trade and local press will also be invited to attend the one-off event.

Nicky has spent the last year as an ambassador for Transitions lenses and has produced two Specs Appeal Guides, widely available in Optical outlets throughout the UK.
