Recognising Transitions® lenses for their role in preserving healthy sight
In addition to providing visual quality, we are committed to protecting your patients’ eyes from the harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays. That’s why every pair of Transitions lenses provides the highest level of UV and glare protection possible. Transitions lenses are the first lens to be recognised by The World Council of Optometry (WCO) for meeting the strict requirements of the organisation’s Global Seal of Acceptance for Ultraviolet Absorbers/Blockers.

About the WCO Global Seal of Acceptance
The WCO Global Seal is a public service helping elevate awareness of the need for UV protection.
The WCO Global Seal is granted by the WCO Global Commission on Ophthalmic Standards (GCOS), a committee of up to seven members appointed with global regional balance that have the appropriate scientific credentials, formed to promote a global criteria for evaluation of ophthalmic-related products.
The WCO recognized Transitions lenses as the first to meet the requirements of the organization's newly created Global Seal of Acceptance for Ultraviolet Absorbers/Blockers.
The WCO Global Seal complements Transitions Healthy Sight mission to build awareness of the need for healthy sight, and to provide convenient protection and visual comfort in addition to visual quality for every patient.
